The History of the Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is the biggest monument in the United States of America and it is placed to a small island. When we look at the history of the statue we can see that it is made by the country of France and it is given to the United States of America as a present. It is placed to the city of New York of the United States of America and it is possible to say that it is a representation of the United States of America. It is built in the year of 1886 and from that time to now people have been visiting the monument. When we look at the number of the people who are visiting the monument each year, in accordance to the current researches, we can see that 4,24million people are visiting the monument and this number is increasing day by day. The people who are visiting the monument are taking photographs and are buying lots of presents to their friends of relatives in order to remember the statue and from the point of the tourism it has very important role for the country of the United States of America.
