When we look at the number of the countries that are in OECD, we can see that there are 34 different countries in it. It is founded in the year of 1960 in order to developing the international trade. Now let’s look at the importance of international trade all together. How can a person continue his live? What are the several ways for the people to get their needs in order to keep their lives in safety? From the beginnings of the world, people have been doing lots of the labors in order to get their necessities that are obligatory in order to live. At that point, trade is one of the most important and one of the most widespread occupations for the people to get their needs for the living. Not only in the almost all of periods of the history but also in modern era the trade plays very important role for the people and it can be easily said that in the future the trade will keep its importance and the people who will live in the future will develop their trades in different dimensions.
When we look at the modern era, with the effects of the globalization and correspondingly to this situation with the rapid development of the technology in the different fields, the trade has been converted into a different aspect. It is no longer very easy to trade the goods worldwide and in the world today, there are lots of the different people who are making trade to the different regions of the world. At that point, it is possible to see that the development of the international trade is very significant and there are lots of the positive effects of this development to the people. In that paper, we are going to analyze how the development of the international trade affects people and how much extent the international trade is significant.
First of all, with the huge developments in the last decade, there are lots of the innovations in people’s lives. In parallel to this situation, in the different fields there are lots of the changings. When it is compared with the last years, people start to make trade in the international trade with the effect of the globalization and other opportunities. With these developments, even the small firms can make trade with the different partners of them that are from the different regions of the world. At that point, in the work of Business and Social Networks in International Trade of the writer James E. Rauch, the situation is stated in that way:
Today… new transportation and communications technologies allow even the smallest firms to build partnerships with foreigner producers to tap overseas expertise, cost-savings, and markets… The scarce resource in this new environment is the ability to locate foreign partners quickly and to manage complex business relationships across cultural and linguistic boundaries…(1177)
From the quotation, it is possible to see how the international trade is easy even for the small firms. As a consequent, it can be easily said that this possibilities help people who are making trade in the different regions of the world, because by this way they are earning much more money that the domestic trade. Correspondingly to this situation, the different goods are no longer available in the different regions of the world.
